Yes the 5 years of work as an inhouse employee speaks volumes as to your skills as a craftsman. And is a logical reason why I would be willing to hire you as a contractor. However, it does not speak to contract law.
1. From what you have learned while reading posts here on the bar and what you have observed in dealing with other business people do you bleive that since you were an inhouse employee
would (could or did) the employer taken any liberties in converting you to contractor status.
2. Basic question..,. did you have a written or verbal contractor's agreeement. Should have asked that in the first place..

if that is what you want.
