be very careful who you work for!!! i would post their name here and other message boards for reference. the pay has dropped and there seems to be a lot of bad dtv dealers out there. you can make $$ even at the low prices they are paying now ($65 primary / $20 add outlets). you need to be able to do 4-5 jobs per day. from what i've read on various message boards, the problem seems to be over zealous sales people who do not inform the new customer of all the charges/rebates etc. this means the tech goes out with 5 jobs and is lucky to get 2-3 completions per day. there are some real good people out there to work for....but as is the norm these days in the telecommunications industry, there are more bad people than good. so be very careful befor travelling 800 miles out of your territory.
