I am currently getting 8.00 per day.

The job i had before this didn't give you any standby pay, but if you were called out, you got paid 2 hrs minimum.

Back in 87 i was getting 12.00 a day with TCI, but that was in a pretty big system and you knew you would be called out every night.

There is times now where i never hear from the answering service all week, and i just take the 56.00 for the week.

I think it depends on the systems you work in. Location, stability of the system and sub counts.
