Amtech was formed by AM Communications by the purchase of Sunrise, JAC and Firstline. AM Communications is in bankruptcy in the US Bankruptcy court for the District of Delaware (case no. 03-12689 PJW (judge Peter J. Walsh)) and includes its' subsidiaries AM Broadband Services, SRS Communications, AMC Services, AM Training Services and AM Nex-Link Communications. They have a long history of not paying and under paying their subcontractors. We worked on the Pittsburgh, PA AT&T/Comcast job and have experienced this first hand. Things may be tight right now but my advise would be to avoid any company with AM at the begining of its name. Do not be their next victim. I know that they have been working on the Comcast system in Massachusetts. Good Luck.
