Any known problems with GFC?

General Fiber Corporation is taking over the Philadelphia region. They have gained a national contractor status with Comcast. They are an employee based company charging the same rates as the previous contractors who sometimes have trouble making ends meet. They are providing new company vehicles that are outfitted with the same logos as the Comcast trucks. They provide benefits and with hold taxes. The pay scale is about half to the installer from what the traditional contractor gets. It seems as though one could make more money working directly for Comcast, why would anyone want to work for less? The guys working for the contracting company get the crap work anyway. I believe they are going to attract people that will not give the customer the best job as we all know you get what you pay for. They are undercutting the industry and are probably going to make contractors look even worse than they already do. It looks as though they have boo coo bucks and can afford to take a serious loss in the region before they eventually fall. There is enough work out there for everybody if we play our cards right. At some point we need to stick together to make sure we all profit and not give away the house to the multi-billion dollar cable companies. Lets stick together and stop killing the rates throughout the industry. I for one am not crawling in attics, crawl spaces and climbing poles in sleet and snow for minimum wage!

Any body agree?(confused)
