Yes, I agree with cableho.
But, if your inputs are 2 db higher on the input than design inputs (which is usually the case) take your "actual unput reading" minus your min. input to you hybrid = your pad.
EXAMPLE: Tombstone says input levels should be 22/20 (Ch.116/Ch.03)
But, you've splice everything before this amp and when you get there you now have 25/23. Just take your 25 db - (18 db input to hybrid) = 7 db input pad.
If you have a "design" CS? Make sure you add it inot the equation.
25 - (18 input to hybrid) - CS = your input pad
