Bravo All!! I asked my plant engineer a similar question a few years back and he absolutely had no idea what the formula was. He told me that his design software did it for him. Too bad the calculations were not correct and we ended up with too much voltage drop on a few legs of the HFC system to sustain the RSU's (for telephony and data). Had to call an old cable dog to get the formula!!!
