go to your highest channel first. check the input rf. subtract that from the rf level you need. this will roughly give you the pad that you need. Then put a medium size eq in and adjust from there. This gives you a starting point to work from remember pads work on a 1 to 1 basis, but eq are more like a 1.5 to 1
