Re: Ghost Cancillation

Greetings,

If you have an electrical problem maybe troubleshooting all grounds and begin the process of elimination as you go.  Is this a Head-end problem or customer's home?

If you have actual image ghosting, and your signal source is an Off-air antenna at the Head-end then use double or quad setup antenna.  By measuring the distance between the two or four identical element bars (Yagi series wtg), relative to the length of the signal wave you are trying to clear up, you can effectively weed out the shadow ghost, or combine them.  I am not exactly sure how it works, but it does.

If the problem is at a home and is across the spectrum, I would definitely eradicate your source of interference instead of covering it up with more electronics because it will likely get worse anyway.

Good luck
