Yep, I have quite a few and have opened them up and repair some myself. Very easy to work on. If I was only responsible for my own meter I wouldn't worry much about a service policy as I baby my tools. But, I also have employees, fortunately a great bunch, but we work in a quite cold climate and the displays do fail sooner, even with much care. It's just something to think about, especially for guys working in harsher climates and who may not be as gentle with their meters as they should be.
