I have noticed the same thing with my 18v dewalt. Especially when you are drilling metal. I still give it my vote as best for Trunk/Feeder splicing. The only bad thing I can say is the dewalt batteries are either charged or dead. There is not that "limp" time like the old 9.6 makita's.
