A couple of ways that has worked for me is:
One: If you want to work as an true "Apprectice"? Contact your local Computer Networking companies and talk with them.
Be careful not to make them think your going into your own busines or they will shut you down.
Two:
Contact your local Cabling "Wholesaler" and ask them for contact names of "Networking Contractors". Usually a salesman or a member of management is willing to give this info out.
