Many major U.S. & Canadian firms hold contracts with CATV and or telecom firms overseas for equipment and installation.
I would suggest monitoring Bectel (SP?) Flour Daniel, Haliburton, Brown & Root and other major construction firms that have the $$$ to fund a large scale infastructure upgrade.
Also check with major manufactureres that bid turn key projects.
SA, C-Cor, & Motorloa have done so in the past.
My kids god parents built all the Telecom at an airport in Saudi (1980-83). they loved it.
