Voom is owned by cablevision system corp. Cablevision launched there own satellite in Aug of this year. This satellite is state of the art. It offer mostly high definition. Most satellite companies have some basic high def channels and the rest are all digital .voom has over 35 hd channels. This product is for the high end market. People that have money to piss away. Houses that have 3 plasma TVs in them. The push will be on Long Island, Connecticut and parts of jersey, All areas that have high end customers. People will buy it because its better than any other product out there. It is a bit steep I do agree. I was in a house two weeks ago. this guy had 4 plasma TVs he had satellite and cable, he had a freaking headend in his basement. These are the type that will go for this and as it becomes more popular and the price drops it will do well. 2 years and you will start seeing them pop up all over.
