Security being a good thing, could you create an option for two things to happen.
1 The reply to go directly to the author of the original post? This would be good for job postings. Unless the author elects to have replies come via another email address or fax. Those email address should be posted clearly.
2. For community discussion itesm the reply should stay on the cabl bar.
My two cents worth.. would save annoying partially posted email addresses.
