I was going to suggest that as well. (talking to Mark P) From what it sounded like, he had a bad experience brought on by the company he went there for. Aside from that, he may be able to give you some more pointers just as the other gentleman did in regards to currency exchanges, local customs, etc. I'm sure there are dozens of scenarios that can take place that none of us without that past experience could think of.
