Almost forgot. When you get paid, don't let them pay you in the local currency. Demand that they pay you in US Dollars!!!!! The exception would be the Brittish Pound since is is stronger than the US Dollar and last heard was very stable.
Places like Brazil and other countries have such an unstable economy that their money could be worth much less overnight.
I never brought my family overseas, but had a chance to do though.
