They just want the receivables. All they are is a conglomeration of a bunch of primes that were willing to sell out, take their couple of million and move on. I know of 4 that sold to them, and they still operate with the same management that was on board before they sold. The owners who sell usually end up having to manage their projects for several years before completely severing ties. Bottom line is it is still the same company, only the Mastec name is slapped on it. Just have to research the group you are getting ready to roll for. You'd think Mastec would identify the jackasses and give them their walking papers, to keep their name in good standing industry wide. Maybe that part is yet to come!
