yeah all the companies are like that now they want you to be responsible for the guy who was there before you. thats why i got out of cable alltogether. from what i hear though satellite isnt much better in that sense. i had a friend doing sat and when they did service calls they were expected to bring the job to code. like if you went to a job and it wasnt grounded you basically had to redo the install for a service call price and lets not forgett you supply your own wire fittings g/b and all that stuff he was losing money doing that stuff. its tooo bad cable was a very good industry a few years ago where else could a 21 year old kid make 2grand a week.
