Exactly the same here for my DirecWAY training. It was a complete joke. The instructors spent more time on history and story/joke telling than actual training. Also, considering the size of the class was roughly 30 individuals, how much actual hands-on training could each guy get. Fortunately, the company I was working for at the time was the one who wasted his money on the class. RS&I was the company conducting the "training" class, btw.
