Re: broadband over power Whats going to happen?


Fundamentally, the reason why "Broadband" can be integrated over the power's neutral is because of the difference between our sine wave vs. their square wave in the waveform oscillation. They're apples vs. oranges; vinegar vs. oil etc.etc.etc.

{One of the} real challenge lies with both OSP and ISP demarc ty-ins i.e., climbing into the "Hot zone" neutral up at the pole or ped; and grounding the network and the potential for” Potential" difference. Leakage control will be interesting for sure as referenced in one of the earlier responses. How about the propensity for stray voltage from the house attaching itself to the new broadband line because of lower ground impedance. Hmmmm, sounds like a financial opportunity lies within this thread.
