I have been in satellite now for around 10 years now and have never heard of this requirement by any company I have worked for.
The company says that any multiswitch installed must have a ground block installed before the multiswitch which must be grounded, then run jumpers to the multiswitch which doesnt need to be grounded. I have never heard of this requirement.
The only time I have ever installed a ground block on a multiswitch job was when the multiswitch did not have a ground on it.
Am I crazy ???????????
