Re: alt. for serial cable of 1750 and 1700 HWTK/FD


The cable is essentially a stereo headphone patch cable, with pins 1 and 2 swapped between the two ends. If necessary, it would take about $10 or less in parts from Radio Shack, and about an hour of time with a soldering iron to make up the cable.

Here is a manual for the CLI-1750 meter, with the information on the serial ports starting on page 139 (appendix C if you have a paper copy of the manual).
