Re:T-40C vs PosiPlus vs Altec AP40

I have worked with both the T40 and all of Altecs Vehicles and can safely say that they both perform well at times.....thats the key...The larger Altecs seem to break down a lot and its usually the same things, the joy stick (they modified it but still has problems) and the wiring harnesses, which, if not under warranty is very expensive to repair...and so is the joy stick when you go through dozens of them...we went through operator training with the Altecs thinking that was part of the problem, but still had problems...the T40 is a more reliable machine, in my opinion.

The Posi has more side pull capacity, featherable controls,no extension chains, full hydraulic system, and all options needed in a placing rig. It will do more than the T-40 and the AP40.
