The best and most efficiant is a gallon jug of water. I put ground rods in every day using a little water. Just start the hole, pour the hole full, stick the ground rod in back and forth antill the water is gone. pour more water in , and repeat the process. This method will work in any soil. not rock. Just try it you will be surprised.
