Electronically, I have been arrogantly told, that due to voltage traveling at a much lower frequency ( 60 Hz ) than say US Channel 2 ( 55.25Mhz ) that a suck out will lead to reduced, or a complete loss, of the low-end signal and that there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY for any voltage to pass through the sucked out fitting. I have had at least one occasion where I had a splicer who had a partially sucked out fitting on some tough 1.000 cable and did have SOME voltage, but it was greatly reduced in level. The RF downstream was greatly affected as well, hence the reason to re-open a 1.000 connector, but I did have SOME voltage. Is there an electronic phenomenon that would explain such an occurrence? I know what I have witnessed in the field, but this individual is claiming to be the all knowing wonder about everything and is NEVER wrong. Can I get a little help here? Thanks in advance.
