Don,t forget to check the back of the set for switches that change the input from 300 OHM to 75 OHM and make sure the f-81's jaws are not spread apart. Lets remember TV's do tend to be bad and sometimes that is why people get cable cause they think it will improve the picture on a tv that is failing for some reason. Hope you find the problem. John
