I have one more doubt, Is it necessary to replace these (IM Cables) cables when we upgrade the system?

Becuase I am working from since last 8 years, I have started with drafting, and from the last couple of years we have started designing. Some of our customers wanted to replace IM cable with new cable and some wanted to retain existing IM cables when we upgrade their system. whether this is because of more loss OR what?

Your answers will help me a lot.
