He is taking some time off...

...(per Dave's last posting). Perhaps there is just nothing left for him to say or do to make a significant difference or mark in this industry and he has found other opportunitues more lucrative and secure. Sadly, there are a lot of very talented folks who have done just that over the past several years. In my non-cable daily existence I occasionally bump into some of these individuals and we swap some pretty interesting "where we are now" stories. Most have actually found more success out in the real world than they ever would have ultimately realized in the CATV business, and they seem much happier. At any rate, hats off to Super Dave wherever he is!!!
