Re: comcast, 90's, h-h's

well.... Cablevision used to not allow 90's.... we had to form loops to turn the cable around...

technically......

90's and housing to housings are prone to loose connections...

BECAUSE..... splicers are working for peanuts these days...

used to be you had to have experience to be a retro splicer... not anymore...

so... some tech in the field tells his boss... the ingress he finds is always at housing to housings or 90's... as a sweeper... I have seen an awful lot of loose 90's and h-h's...

so... this boss... goes up the proverbial ladder and.... a decree is made..... no more 90's or housing to housings....

there are a couple of reflection-issue problems with 90's ... that maybe.... the 90's could present a (very minor) problem...

but... in my opinion... it is related to the current lack of quality work being done....

of course..... I might be wrong... maybe they are too expensive for comcast ;)

just my opinion... I really don't know the actual facts behind your specific job...
