Heya Clint,
According to the specs on these taps, the plug-in modules are signal conditioning for the tap ports only. Their placement will not affect the thru-side of the tap, so system sweeps shouldn't be affected.
We use the SA version in our system, and they help alot with the drop ingress issues with lower value taps.
