I just got a huge check pulled from our business account! Apparently the payors bank refused to honor the check due to it not being properly endorsed on the back. In all my years this has never come up, but it appears due to a rise in theft banks are making it common practice. You need to either stamp the back or write "for deposit only payable to your company name with account number"
