Insurance is most definately a major issue here.
We all make mistakes time to time.
If you check with your liabilty insurance company?
They will tell you that you must be covered for enterance into an attic space!
Therefore, you should get a letter from your insuance carrier that states that unless you have additional coverage, you are forbidden to enter attic space.
Personally? I don't care if it makes the job easier to go into the attic! It also make the install nice looking, professional and therefore "Custom"!
