Re: Can someone please explain?

There are good points in all of these posts on this subject. In fact, it really vidicates the idea that we need some type of reform to the CATV Industry. THere needs to be some type of organization, a combined union type situation that self police's ( eliminate the cruds) itself, and guarentees a level of pay needed to support our families. In my personal opinion, the later is the sticky area. I remember a time, many years ago as a grunt, when I was excited about the fact that if I worked smart and hard, I could do a lot of jobs and write my own paycheck in this cool industry called Cable TV. In fact the companies really geared everything towards the Idea that the best and fastest guys got the next job first. So I believe.......the time is now to get a hold of our industry. It up to US!
