Verified accounts are explained in the Help section (click the '?' in the CABL Bar menu at the top of the left frame) under Sign Up.

To upgrade an account to verified:
Click on the account name just below the CABL Bar menu:

User: youracctname <----- click

This will take you to the Account page. Click the "Verified Account Request Form" link at the bottom of that page. This will open a new window with a form to change the status of your current account.
