Does it really matter what the going rate is? The fact of the cable world today is.. do you really want to stay in cable for the current price scheme? If so the market price will be set by the lowest taker. So if you will not install a tap and change out a lock box and find a place to toss the old one, and rework the drops,change out the connectors and probably reground......someone else will.
