Re: 3com Cable Modems

3 com modems are not supported very well with the cisco router 7246 upgrade......did you install new software to your router?

We had the same problem with them and 3 com could not fix the problem. We had a variety of modems and the 3 com were the only ones dropping out. We only had about 50 in our system we pulled them all out and replaced them with the R.C.A. and others.

Problem solved!!!!!3 com gave us the biggest run around but they did buy them back.......I f you have a lot of modems just reinstall the old software in the cisco and they will work.......
