Re: 0-50mhz high pass filters

why would you not use filters? if you spend the money to fire up a return path KEEP IT CLEAN!, Think of the long term benifits.
if you see a problem on a spectrum then there is a problem in the field.why should gramma bertha's 1969 model rca tv have access to a return path when she would not ever use a modem even if it was free.
99% of the noise i chase for days in nodes are fricking drops.
and its NOT the drop. I bet only 20% are drops if that.
its crap in the house. but we all know that.
just blows my mind that these big msos spend millions and then
drop the ball in the end. filter it man100%. roll a truck to each activation and move the filter to the ground block when access to the path is needed. you will not regret it.
its your system so its up to you, is it worth a few dollars per sub to be fresh and clean? hehe good luck. just my humbled opinion.
lets see you can pay 10 to 12 cents a foot for somebody to go out and clean it up just enough to pass cert then run circles for ever with your inhouse techs or you can filter it. what to do?
later and good luck. (snipper)
