The reply can be anything you want. One ad with a reply isn't a big deal. It's the constant repetion of the same ads that creates a problem.
Think if you had to pay a reasonable fee for the ad: the first one is worth the fee, a second a little while later might be worth it, then after that probably not. That same diminishing value translates to the value it has to other members. Seen once, interesting. Second time, OK. After that, it's annoying spam.
