You are correct cablechik. The primes today are too greedy, too overloaded in debt <like the cable companies> and uncaring.
I spent 18 years in this business as a prime and no one, employee or subcontractor, ever lost a penny on me.
When I determined that Charter could not provide the work nor the timely payments needed to continue to pay the people as needed I hung it up.
