S corp status is not a cure all, it's great of you only have yourself and another person or two. There are specific requirements to be an S corp as opposed to a C corp of LLC. Just ask an accountant what he/she/it recommends with your individual situation. S corp is a great way to go and has some advantages the others corporation classification dont...Good Luck
