My big question is who is policing the background check companies? As an employer, Ive talked to them directly. Didn't have the right answers for me. They bragged about how then didn't do just a computer check but rather a complete check of all state, all county investigation. I said for $xx.xx your are going to give us a fancy scannable badge and do a background check in all 50 states for each individual. He said not only that but we are going to check every county within each state. Really I said. I don't believe you. There are more than 3000 counties in the USA. I you are not lying then you are getting paid pennies per check. That is when my confidence in these so called background check companies failed the test.
