I hope everyone is well on this forum. Latley have been researching the fiber optics industry heavily since i desire to learn how to splice and drop fiber lines. I will start by working for someone but then become my own contractor drop bearing and splicing. My question is ....is this industry still a viable industry? I was told that the price per foot on a main line is 4.50 to 15foot for prime contractors. Starting out how many feet can i look at dropping a year realistically? Before i jump into this wholeheartedly i want to hear from the veterans in this industry.
