**MAN** you been living in a cave....this is not a good time to start a "new" business in the cable trades. If you do anything..stick to fiber optics, as coax is on it's way out the door. If you do start a construction company...I've got plenty of tools laying around.
Experience labor, mechanical sound trucks/equipment, full insurance coverage, tax man to track your payroll, friendly banker, bad ass lawyer to protect your interest. And most of all....a hand full of football tickets, tickets to disney, a few motorcycles and vets to give away as your being contributing to some cable managers retirement funds.
Stay as a sub..this is not the time to jump ship ..................microman
