Lawsuits like this are why most cable contractors are now going 100% in-house and phasing 1099 employees out.  That means lower pay for everyone.  I bet the techs that originally filed the suit were lazy techs who were probably fired due to lack of productivity.  Thanks a lot for screwing tose of us who actually worked as 1099's who bust our ass on a daily basis, we know as 1099 employees we don't get OT and accept that we are paid a much higher rate because of it.
