It was not my situation but a friend who works directly for cox cable and he said he didnt mind waiting an hour for the port because he was in his heated van and it was freezing outside.I stated thats fine when your an employee but as a contractor for 15.00 thats B.S.Also you mentioned going inside to fix whatever and then bill for it ? As of now you only get paid to put in a junk box for 5.00 no matter if line needs replacing or not same with the aeriel drop. They quit paying for everything thats why as of 3 weeks ago my contractor threw in the towel and im glad because all they do is take take take from you.26 years doing cable thats ALOT of homes. For over 26 years I got paid to wire half this city and now they expect it for free ??. By the way it cost an average of 80.00 for a company truck roll to a house, to sit in a van 80.00 more for an hour because of port problems cost the mso big dollars.Thats why they need contractors.Thats why all should pull out like my boss then well see if they dont beg to renegotiate with a new union of Cable technicins.Who the hell can work for free ?
