Check out these links and here is where the lic process starts. This link will tell who needs a lic. http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/pro/division/Servicesthatrequirealicense_Electrical.html This link tell you about the application process. https://www.myfloridalicense.com/NewApplicationInstruct.asp?Page=intentions2.asp&SID and the last link is for those of you who want to call and help unlicensed companies get a lic. http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/reg/ULA-Report-Unlicensed-Activity.html . Hope this helps.

We all know that cable, and satellite installers should be an employee base these days if you want a decent living with benefits, (vehicle, supplies, specialty tools, vacation, health care, free tv or free tv and internet, formal education, advancement, over time pay, ect, ect, ect). Yeah I know $13 and hour to start, as the rest in and see what you are really making. As a contractors we don't get anything but minimum wage and no benefits, after it's all said and done. Think about it.

I gave up contracting for sat subs because there is no money in it, (unless your a hack playing a numbers game) but I am trying to get on in house, with a couple of providers. I would not even apply with a prime, who needs a third party controlling your money and deny you benefits..

That would like jumping over a dollar to make fifty cents.. good luck brothers.
