Job Description
• Must have experience in cable/phone construction practices for Aerial and Underground OSP Fiber builds.
• Must have experience in job costing.
• Must have a good knowledge of cable and phone company related design maps.
• Ensures compliance and documentation of all applicable safety requirements.
• Motivate, mentor and provide necessary direction to the field support team.
• Analysis of projects for required process refinement and implementation.
• Investigate project cost variances while ensuring that efficient processes are in place.
• Ensure projects are progressing at rate that will meet or exceed agreed upon schedules.
• Resolves issues affecting projects scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline.
• Reviews and provides feedback on assigned projects on a consistent basis.
• Review construction job cost, maintenance and manpower scheduling.
• Develops process to alert key people of conditions and delays that may negatively affect deliverables and/or costs for each project.
• Review and approve invoicing and production related paperwork.
• Monitor project budgets and the manpower requirements.
• Must have experience in job costing.
