Aerial Placement Crews Needed (In-House and Subs)

Will start immediately following orientation training, background check, and drug testing.

Pay

In-House hourly pay rates are negotiable. Benefits include: Employee Only health coverage, Dental and disability insurance available. Sub Contractor will be paid by units.

Qualifications

Foreman/Crew Leader expected to have at least a minimum of 5 years in aerial construction/placement of fiber and copper. Must be able to set and replace poles of all sizes. Class A CDL preferred. Lineman climbing gear and hand tools required. Laborer must be willing to learn, be able to take instruction understand and execute the task as directed.

Other Requirements

Must have valid drivers license. Must have your own climbing gear and hand tools.

Working Foreman -

Crew leader, normal lineman work, bucket truck and digger derrick operation expected. Also in charge of getting work assigned to employees on the crew, insures that all work performed by the crew is done safely and keeps everyone moving to accomplish the task. Helps to train employees to be able to move up to the next step in their career. Takes care of all paperwork, reviews timesheets, marks up as-built prints. Makes sure equipment and tools are accounted for, well maintained, and safe to use.

Lineman/Equipment Operator

-Normal lineman work, bucket truck and digger derrick operation expected. This person is also responsible for directing and helping to set up safety signs and any traffic flow changes to accomplish the task at hand. They will be responsible for the operation of the trucks or equipment. He or she will do most of the bucket work or operating of the equipment to accomplish a task. Inspect the equipment in the morning to insure it is ready to work safely for the day. This person will perform all other duties as assigned.

Laborer

- This is an entry level position. What is needed is a willingness to learn, be able to take instruction understand and execute the task as directed. This person should be willing to advance, and take on more and more responsibility as he or she is trained and before moving to the next level should be proficient in helping to set up a job. Work in a safe manner. Check stock on the truck making sure that the crew will have enough material on the truck to perform the day's work. Assist the lineman/Foreman to perform a pre-survey on the truck or equipment to insure that all lights and all safety features are working. If anything is found to not be in working condition then it should be reported to the foreman before the equipment leaves for the day.
