Job Description
Looking for an experienced manager to oversee construction of RUS funded FTTH fiber network in Tennessee
(mainly aerial)
Responsibilities include program management oversight and all aspects of the entire project network build out from design to closeout deliverables.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
On sight management of build out on a daily basis.
Oversee and coordination of fiber construction contractor including multiple aerial & underground crews, fiber splicers and tree trimmers.
Oversight and coordination of RUS Construction Inspectors. this inspectors will report directly to the successful candidate.
Make field level decisions with design & construction issues on a daily basis.
Follow up with any customer complaints
Ensure daily production reports are completed & signed off by production crews & inspectors on a daily basis.
Assistance in the coordination of aerial make ready
produce weekly status reports & interact with client on a daily basis.
review OSP design, have full understanding of buildout & identify & revise design to help identify any costs saving measures.
Understand, create & asbuilt fiber splicing matrixes.
complete RUS contracts for contractor including all change orders
coordinate RUD contract closeouts when projects are complete.
Review construction build out & identify and coordinate any punch list items.
Participate in conference calls with both internal team & client.
Ensure all asbuilts, splice diagrams and final deliverables are completed, accurate, and delivered on time.
Take full ownership of project for the client.
Project could last several years with possible options to roll to other project in area or nationwide.
